Colnago guarantees its frames free from production or material defects, if purchased from an authorized dealer.
To make a claim within the warranty period, contact the same retailer from whom the purchase was made and return the product.

To make a warranty claim you must return the product to the same authorized Colnago retailer where you purchased the product. Please note that if the product was purchased in another country, it must be returned to that country’s authorized dealer. We always recommend, both for the greater security linked to assembly and pre-delivery verification, both because you are sure of the originality, and for the best after-sales service, to buy from an authorized Colnago dealer near your residence.
The product must be made expressly clean together with:
name, address, telephones and e-mails (as provided at the time of registration of the bicycle on our website, if registration was made)
a fiscal document that proves the place and date of purchase
a detailed description of the problem (we suggest using tape to help us identify the exact position)
a description of the components used together with the claimed product
a specific request, if you want any sensitive personal data provided not to be stored for future reference after handling the complaint
Colnago Ernesto E C Srl guarantees its frames, if purchased from authorized Colnago dealers, free of production defects or materials for:
Three years from the date of purchase at retail if, within ten days of the purchase, it is registered on the site www.colnago.com.
Two years if it does not register within ten days of purchase or for warranty replacement products.
Two years for the E64 model from the retail purchase date.
A frame that is recognized as defective by Colnago Ernesto E C Srl in the terms of this warranty will be repaired or replaced, at the discretion of Colnago. In case of NON availability of the original product, the replacement will take place with a similar product of equivalent value. We remind you that the Colnago warranty covers any aesthetic and / or painting defects for 12 months (1 year).
Products of other companies, mounted on Colnago bicycles, are covered by the guarantees of the respective manufacturers, to which you are kindly requested.
This warranty does not cover:
products without a purchase tax document (receipt or invoice)
products not purchased from an authorized Colnago dealer
products whose identification codes have been removed, altered, deleted or made illegible
normal wear (including fatigue)
damage caused by abuse or improper use, incorrect assembly (for example incorrect tightening torques), incorrect or insufficient maintenance, accidents, blows, corrosion, use of aggressive cleaners, use with non-toxic products compatible, repairs not carried out correctly, and more generally anything that does not constitute a manufacturing defect
products arrived at the natural end of the useful life cycle
the effects of UV exposure (fading, yellowing) including Fluo colors
the effects of the saline environment
repainted products (even partially)
products that have undergone any changes
transport damage (responsible for the carrier)
aesthetic defects that were easily detectable at the time of purchase of the product
the labor necessary for replacement
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective product that is the only warranty remedy.
Colnago Ernesto E C Srl is not responsible for consequential or incidental damages. This is the only conventional warranty in effect for the product you have purchased, and any additional, implicit, or implied warranty is specifically excluded. When a product is repaired or replaced as a guarantee free of charge, the replacement product has a new warranty. In addition, when a product is replaced under warranty, the replaced product becomes the property of Colnago Ernesto E C Srl. Any dispute over the warranty, the purchase and use of Colnago products will be governed by Italian law; the competent forum will be the Milan, Italy forum.

Bici senza tecnologia NFC - Blockchain

Bici con tecnologia NFC Blockchain Colnago
Se hai acquistato un C68 o un V4Rs o una qualsiasi bici in edizione limitata prodotta a partire da Marzo 2021, allora la tua bici è dotata di un tag NFC.
Il tag NFC è uno speciale adesivo serigrafato posizionato tra sul tubo obliquo poco sotto la borraccia. Per registrare la bici e ottenere l’estensione di Garanzia Colnago, ti basterà scaricare l’app Colnago [per iPhone o Android] sul tuo cellulare e seguire le istruzioni passo a passo.
1.If you own a V4Rs or a C68, you can register the ownership of your bike on the Colnago blockchain. This way, you get the Colnago 3-year warranty and the benefits of digital certification of your bike's ownership and authenticity.
2. First, you will need to download the Colnago app from the App Store if you have an Apple phone, or from Google Play if you have an Android phone. Use the same credentials as your colnago.com account to log in, or create a new account.
3. Once inside the app you will be asked to enter your personal data and scan one of your documents. Colnago does not save this information. They are only used to certify that you are a real person.
4. The next step is to create a 'blockchain wallet': with this step you create a virtual container, associated with your account, in which your Colnago bikes will be stored, once registration is complete.
At this stage you will be asked to save a password for the wallet and a code consisting of a series of 12 words will be generated. It is important to save and preserve them.
You will be asked for a password to finalise blockchain operations. The 12-word code, on the other hand, will serve you when you need to move your blockchain wallet to other devices - such as when you change your mobile phone.
5. Finally you are ready to register: you need to have your Colnago card and your bike with you. If you haven't already done so, first activate the Colnago Card you received with your bike by clicking on your profile and then on 'Manage Colnago Card'. Scan it by slowly swiping the card along the back of your mobile phone. It is important to check where the NFC antenna is located on your model and to verify that the NFC scan function is active
In the case of the iPhone 13, the NFC antenna is located at the top of the phone.
6. Once you have registered your Colnago Card for your bike, click on the '+' button on the main screen, select 'Register your bike' and follow the instructions. First, scan the Colnago Card, passing it slowly along your mobile phone where the NFC antenna is positioned. Then scan the NFC tag on the bike. The NFC tag is the screen-printed sticker on the down tube between the bottle cage and the bottom bracket. At this point the bike is registered!
Again, it is important to pass the phone slowly over the Colnago blockchain sticker on the down tube.
The Colnago V3 is not one of the bikes equipped with NFC - Blockchain technology.

If your bike was produced after 2022, you must locate the QR code located under the bottom bracket. By scanning it, a text with letters, numbers and dashes will appear. Copy it exactly into the serial number field.
The serial number is also shown in full above and below the QR code. If you are not able to scan the code, enter the part above and the part below the QR code in the registration procedure exactly as they are written, including dashes.
For bicycles produced before 2022, you will find the serial number written in full under the bottom bracket. Copy it exactly as it is written.
The Colnago G3-X is not one of the bikes equipped with NFC - Blockchain technology.

The serial number is also shown in full above and below the QR code. If you are not able to scan the code, enter the part above and the part below the QR code in the registration procedure exactly as they are written, including dashes.

How to find the serial number on a Master
The serial number of steel frames is usually located at the rear rear derailleur hanger. It is engraved in the steel. The serial number consists of numbers and letters, without spaces or dashes.
To be able to read it, remove the rear wheel.
All Colnago bikes produced before 2021 that are not a C68, V4Rs, or limited series, are not among the bikes equipped with NFC - Blockchain technology.
