C68 ROAD TI
The frame is constructed from several carbon parts that are hand-assembled in Italy through joints and interlocks. The number of parts that complete the frame (i.e. 9) is greater than on the C68, which has 8: there is an extra joint between the top tube and head tube.
The carbon bands are applied manually at the joint between the carbon modules, after which they are filed and polished to achieve the look of a monocoque frame with the best Colnago modular frame properties.
The tradition of modular carbon frames began at Colnago in the early 1990s. Colnago was the first brand in cycling history to introduce carbon frames to professional teams, winning a technically demanding race like the Paris Roubaix with the legendary C40.
The titanium joints are 3D printed. this is a technological solution that did not exist until a few years ago. 3D printing allows us to create - on request - completely customised geometries that are perfectly tailored to the most demanding customer.
01.
Colnago takes great care in the construction of carbon parts, from moulds to laminations, demanding that its suppliers adhere scrupulously to design requirements.
02
The lugs are created by an additive process from pure titanium powder, which is carried out in the complete absence of oxygen. A laser melts titanium particles at up to 3000 °C
03
At Colnago's Cambiago site, tubes and joints are shaped, finished and glued to form frames of different sizes.
04
Most joints are masked through the application of thin carbon bandages, resulting in a smooth tube surface.
05
Painting is done strictly by hand using an airbrush. The aim is to achieve excellent quality without making the frame too heavy.
06
Even the final touch, the assembly of the components, is carried out strictly at our premises in Cambiago.
Register your Colnago C68 Road Ti on the Colnago Blockchain. You will enjoy all the legal benefits of having the ownership of your bicycle registered on a secure system accessible to the authorities.
In addition, you will be able to prove the authenticity of the frame at any time, resell your Colnago more easily on the secondary market, certify any maintenance carried out, and report a theft making it unsaleable on the secondary market.
Finally, you get an extension of the warranty for an additional year over the statutory two-year warranty already provided with the bike.

The C68 Road Ti is entirely designed and handmade in Italy. Frame construction takes place in Cambiago, with assembly of the carbon tubes and joints, produced by an Italian supplier in Pordenone, The titanium joints are 3D printed by a specialist medical prosthesis supplier based in Merate. while painting is done in Cascina. Finally, back in Cambiago, the components are assembled and the product is shipped to more than 160 countries worldwide.
Although both models are top-of-the-range carbon racing bikes with very similar geometries, there are big differences. The construction technique of the V4Rs frame is monocoque; the C68 is a modular frame composed of several interlocking parts. The philosophy is also radically different: the V4Rs is a bike designed and optimised for use by professional racers. More rigid and lighter, it suits highly powerful racers with extremely flexible muscles and joints. The C68, on the other hand, is designed for maximum riding pleasure: a snappy and responsive bike that calls for speed, with the perfect balance that a racing bike should have between enjoyment and performance.
The main differences between the C68 Road Ti and C68 Allroad lie in the maximum tyre width - 32 mm for the C68 Road Ti, 35 mm for the C68 Allroad - and the geometries. In fact, the C68 Allroad has a shorter reach and a larger stack than its sibling Road, and is the best choice for racers who have less extreme geometry (lower saddle-handlebar drop), for those who like to spend many hours in the saddle in a row, but above all for those looking for improved manageability on bumpy and slippery stretches.
The size of the C68 Road Ti, like every Colnago, is measured in cm and represents the length of the seat post. The size is also indicated on the serial number, located under the water bottle between the two rivets. Colnago sizing does not follow the same logic as other manufacturers. We advise you to refer to the geometry table above.
To register your C68 Road Ti warranty you need to log into the Colnago app, register your account and register ownership of your bike via blockchain. Follow the steps in the app or consult the appropriate page.
The statutory warranty of the C68 Road Ti lasts 2 years. If you register your bike within 30 days of purchase, you can get the Colnago 3-Year Warranty. Follow the instructions at this link.
Pay close attention. Colnago urges you not to do this yourself, but instead to seek the expert help of a Colnago dealer. If you want to know how to install the Colnago CC.01 handlebar, download the guide above.
In the C68 the serial number is located below the bottle cage on the down tube, in between the two rivets. To read it you can scan the qr code.
No, the C68 Road Ti is only available in its standard colour.
To register your bike on the blockchain you need to access the Colnago app, register your account and register the ownership of your bike by writing it on the blockchain. Follow the steps in the app or consult the appropriate page.
At Colnago we do not use the 'endurance' category. If by endurance bikes you mean bikes with more relaxed and slower geometries, then the C68 Road Ti is not an endurance bike. The C68 Road Ti is a bike with racing geometry that suits riders looking for speed without compromising on prestige and style.
Yes, of course. The C68 Road platform has been homologated by the UCI and can perform the races organised by the International Cycling Union for which homologation is required.
The CC.01 handlebar is not standard on this bike, but can be ordered separately from your dealer and is compatible.
